We continue our series on the films of Denzel Washington with the 1995 cyber-thriller ‘Virtuosity.’ Plus two new movies in theaters: ‘Primetime’ and John Wilson’s ‘The History of Concrete.’

We start with The History of Concrete. Does the movie live up to the show it came from, and does its big story pay off? Then Primetime: Lance Oppenheim’s A24 crime drama with Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen, the real-life host of To Catch a Predator. Is it funny, sad, or both?

Then Virtuosity (1995): Denzel plays a former cop pulled into a virtual reality training program to hunt SID 6.7, a digital construct built from notorious serial killers.
